New Delhi - Red Fort and India gate

Sahana and Daadu posing in front of the Red Fort in Delhi

Kunal, Sahana, Daadu, Kabir and Sonie trying to stay dry as we take a quick picture outside the Red Fort grounds.

We were not allowed inside the Red Fort grounds as they are getting ready for the 15th/August independence day celebrations.

The 42-metre tall India Gate is situated in the heart of New Delhi. Burning as a shrine under the arch of India Gate since 26 jan 1971 is called the Amar Jawan Jyoti (the flame of the immortal warrior), which marks the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier in world war II.

  1. Reminds me of when Siddhu, Mom and I were at India Gate... The President's Estate was gorgeous nearby. The pictures are awesome! I can't wait to hear more when you guys are back.
